Image inpainting using directional wavelet packets originating from polynomial splines

چکیده

The paper presents a new algorithm for the image inpainting problem. uses recently designed versatile library of quasi-analytic complex-valued wavelet packets (qWPs) which originate from polynomial splines arbitrary orders. Tensor products 1D qWPs provide diversity 2D oriented in multiple directions. For example, set fourth-level comprises 62 different properties these such as refined frequency resolution, directionality waveforms with unlimited number orientations, (anti-)symmetry and windowed oscillating structure variety frequencies, make them efficient processing applications, particular, dealing problem addressed paper. obtained results this are quite competitive best state-of-the-art algorithms. is implemented by an iterative scheme, expands Split Bregman Iteration (SBI) procedure supplying it adaptive variable soft thresholding based on Bivariate Shrinkage algorithm.
